Our Principles
Jermine D. Alberty, BSB/M, M. Div, is the Principal Consultant and Owner of SALT Initiative. All services provided by SALT Initiative are overseen and directed by Mr. Alberty, a proven leader, and executive with over 20 years of experience serving a variety of nonprofit, for-profit, city governments and universities. He possesses the knowledge and expertise needed to assist your organization.

Rev. Jermine Alberty is a distinguished author, pastor, national trainer, leader, and consultant dedicated to empowering individuals and organizations alike. With a Master of Divinity from Central Baptist Theological Seminary and a B.A. in Business/Management from the University of Phoenix, Jermine brings a unique blend of spiritual insight and business acumen to his work.

With over 25 years of experience across various sectors including nonprofit, faith communities, mental health, and government, Jermine has honed his skills in community organizing, program development, and leadership. He has served in diverse roles such as community organizer, training director, and principal investigator, showcasing his versatility and adaptability.

Jermine possesses a diverse skill set, including exceptional interpersonal communication, analytical prowess, and a proven ability to lead teams to success. His expertise extends to designing effective email campaigns, conducting thorough research, and implementing impactful fundraising initiatives.
Throughout his career, Jermine has made significant contributions to numerous organizations and initiatives. As the Executive Director of Pathways to Promise, he led the promotion of mental health services to member organizations and communities, while also overseeing day-to-day operations and fundraising efforts.

In his role as Senior Director at the Missouri Institute of Mental Health, Jermine played a pivotal role in managing statewide initiatives and training programs, demonstrating his commitment to advancing mental health awareness and education.

Jermine's dedication to community engagement is reflected in his extensive involvement in various boards, coalitions, and appointments. He has served on the boards of NAMI Nevada, Alive & Well Communities, and NAMI St. Louis, among others, and has been recognized with awards such as the Peace & Justice Award from Central Baptist Theological Seminary and the Fellowship of Christian Stewards Merit Award from the Missouri Baptist Foundation.
